AI Compliance Officer (AI Officer)

EU AI Act Compliance Services

If you develop, deploy, or use AI systems in the EU, you must meet the requirements of the EU AI Act. We provide the services you need to stay compliant.

Comply with the EU AI Act across the EU.

We offer:

AI Compliance Officer (AI Officer)

Under the EU AI Act, the law expects every organisation using AI to put clear responsibility in place for AI governance, risk management, and compliance across the full AI lifecycle.

Will this affect your business? Yes, if you:

  • develop AI systems

  • use third-party AI tools in your business

  • deploy AI in products or services sold in the EU

  • use AI for decisions that affect people

  • operate high-risk AI systems

Are there any exceptions? Yes. You may not need this role if you:

  • only use AI tools in a minimal, low-risk way

  • do not use AI for decision-making that affects individuals

  • do not deploy AI systems within the EU market

Examples:

If you use AI for recruitment screening, credit scoring, medical devices, safety systems, or customer profiling, you will need structured AI compliance and oversight.

If you only use basic AI features such as spellcheck or simple automation tools with no impact on people, you will not need a formal AI compliance function.

What does an AI Compliance Officer do?

They act as the central point of responsibility for AI governance inside your organisation. They make sure your AI systems are lawful, safe, transparent, and properly monitored.

This includes:

√ Setting up an AI governance and compliance framework

√ Classifying your AI systems by risk level

√ Running ongoing risk management processes

√ Preparing conformity assessments for high-risk AI

√ Managing documentation, audit trails, and technical records

√ Ensuring transparency when users interact with AI

√ Putting meaningful human oversight in place

√ Monitoring AI systems after deployment and reporting incidents

√ Checking third-party AI providers and contracts

√ Training your staff on AI risks and responsibilities

AI compliance is not a one-off task. It runs from design through to monitoring and decommissioning.

If you are unsure whether the EU AI Act applies to your use of AI, get in touch and we will review your situation.
